2008...The Year Of The Lifestyle!

We are only 6 days into the year of the Rat, but there is already a lot of commotion brewing. From the presidential race to highly anticipated releases, there is a whole lot to look forward to. Let's take a look at what It's A Lifestyle can't wait to see in 2008.

-The Pineapple Express:

Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow do it again with this one. Starring Rogen, James Franco, and ROsie Perez, this film looks to be a serious trip. Look out for this in August.

-Andre 3000's Solo Album

After Dre's verse on The Art Of Storytelling Pt. 2 and his remix of Hov's "20's The New 30", this man has alot to say, and he's finally going to be putting it in rap form again.

-Jadakiss' Roc-A-Fella Debut

This one is pretty self-explanatory. With Jada making a power move to the R.O.C., everyone's waiting to see what this new association will do to his work. The closest thing we've got to what Kiss does so far is Freeway's Free At Last, and that was one of the best albums of '07.

- Nas- Nigger

It's Nas. His album is called "Nigger". It's Nas! There's not too much else needed to say. Be on the lookout for more controversy than, "Hip Hop Is Dead".

-The Presidential Election

With Iowa in the bag and New Hampshire coming up, Obama seems to be picking up some serious steam. The problem is, the Black man is getting the female vote while the White woman is getting the older black vote. Why is this? Older Blacks are scared they are wasting a vote on Obama, who they feel "The Man" would never let become president. The alternative? Bill Clinton as First Husband. It's starting to get all too obvious that our next president will be a democrat, and its even more obvious that the ticket is going to be either Hillary or Barack. Let the bloodshed begin!

Russel Simmons is. A new year brings many new opportunities. For many college students this marks a new semester. For many professionals this marks a change of social pace both in and out of the office. Was your New Years resolution to dump your girlfriend? Well if you haven't by now, then this one doesn't apply to you. Go back to your Sex and The City Marathon. If your New Years resolution to find "her", then you need to get your priorities straight. Don't worry about that, because if you've got yourself together then she's out there. She could be in the copy room or at Starbucks, but she's out there. Just take a lesson from Uncle Russel. Make sure to trade up!

More to Come!
