Manifest has just dropped their new Fall/Holiday collection. Pictured above is just a few of some of the tee's in the line, I love how for the majority of there collection they opted for the simple look. Not a line full with Neon Yellows and pinks, or crazy annoying all over prints, but instead message tee's, or tee's that just represent their target customer.
Bill O'Reilly has done it again, though at this point it's kind of expected. As we all know, Snoop Dogg is a menace to society and he MUST be taken off the streets. Peep the Al Capone comparison, and how they "accidentally" change the womans description from "Snoops former Defense Attorney" to "Former Back-up Singer" for a few clips. Now THAT'S journalism!
So Jay-Z is back from his 'retirement', (yeah, I didn't believe it either.) Shawn Carter is back from his three year vacation, claiming to be the savior of hip hop. On the other hand Mr. Nasir Jones is parading around proclaiming that hip hop is dead. I suspect that the poor reception of his last album may have something to do with that, Streets Disciple was anything but commercial, another attempt by Nas to punish us for making him a commercial success. Welcome back gentlemen, we need you. But I'm here to tell you that hip hop isn't dead, it's not even in danger. Well, not commercial danger that is. Rap continues to gain popularity throughout the world, but contrary to popular belief, real hip-hop music is still being made. Check the releases from the fall of this year if you need proof. And that winter quarter? Oh boy! What's the problem then? If Nas is content with hip hop being dead isn't that enough? What do we need Jay-Z for? If he wants to retire, let him go.
No.
A Bigger Bang went platinum last year and Honkin' on Bobo, that one went double two years back Never heard of those albums? I'm a little surprised, but not really. The former is the latest album from The Rolling Stones and the latter is the most recent offering from Aerosmith just a couple of bands that that have been putting out albums since 1964 and 73 respectively. Do the math, that's about six years before Rappers Delight. Today's rock and roll isn't your daddy's rock and roll, and neither is today's rap. Rock music has seen it's ups and downs, big hair, grunge, alternative. It's seen unbelievable popularity thanks to the MTV generation and of course competition, there's this little fad called rap music. I hear the kids love it. Through it all, fans young and old have had the Stones rocking through it all. Aerosmith cleaned up their act and rocked their way back to relevancy. Hip Hop's founders are nearly unrecognizable to the new breed of hip hop fans. Jay-Z is hip-hop's Rolling Stones, he is an artist we have seen through hustle, success, mega-success, and now hiatus, we anxiously wait in the wings for the next offering, hoping that in this era of thugs and drugs we can still connect, that someone in the game can still spit something we can relate to. In Nas we hope for hip-hop's voice to emerge from his furlough, rejuvenated, mature. Nas has always had knowledge for us, we're just now ready to hear it.
Hip-hoppers are now in their mid 20's and 30's and we still love it, we still need our voice to be heard. No offense to Jeezy but I left coke rhymes with Reasonable Doubt, I left the thug life with All Eyez on Me, I left my dreams of being a kingpin with It Was Written and I left my thoughts of immortality with Life After Death. We need to bridge the gap (word to Nas). If Rock music is the blueprint we need Jay-Z and Nas to put out albums for the heads who appreciated when rap moved up from a hip-hop ahibbit a-hibbit to tha...(no offense). We need for our Stones and our Aerosmith to change the game. I'm looking forward to Kingdom Come and Hip Hop is Dead for the simple fact that I think that rap music can learn a thing or two from Rock music, the times will change and artists can and need to change. If the music is good, we will survive. Hip hop, can survive artistically and commercially.
The Rolling Stones raked in $162 million in concert ticket sales in 2005, it was the top-grossing tour of that year and of all time. Who are you going to see when you're 40? Too bad that King Tim II concert never came around huh?
Finally in the fourth and final installation in the "Confederation of Villainy" pack Crooked strays away from the suddle but hot colorways and brings out the neons. If not the most iconic shoe for the D.C. and maryland area its one of them so its nice to see it with some more intresting colors. All though it has the neon theirs just a touch so it doesn't over power the shoe as well as the other green on the shoe. They used a grey suede on its uppers as well as black so its different from the 991's you would see at your local footlocker but its not over done.
So here you have all 4 pairs out of the pack, all very hot but the 1500's and the 991's are definetly highlights. Again their all set to release early december and are all limited to 99 pairs each.
Finally we get actual detail pics of the am 90 Homegrown? or is it Amsterdam 2?, nobody really knows at this point so we'll just call them both until more info is available. So these am's will use premium materials of course such as suede, premium leathers and a cork screw in sole, now thats different
when more concrete info including perhaps a name and rd is available we will update you
Another debut for one of the forthcoming Crooked x New Balance 'Confederation Of Villainy' models. The white leather behind the 'N' and a touch of 3m creates a nice little suddle contrast to the shoe. The New Balance 575 in this pack like the others is tasteful and real detail oriented . Instead of using neon colors they chose suddle blue's and a classic gum sole bottom. Releasing Early December
Another installment in the "Confederation of Villary" pack is the NewBalance 577's. They chose again to keep it simple and focus on the details and again another hot collab between the two. Carbon Fiber "N" surrounded by a white highlight is just dope, and the contrast between the yellow, black, and grey is perfect.
Again these are limited to 99 pairs and are dropping on their site early in December
The latest addition to the CT x NB callab family is the "Confederation of Villany" pack. Crooked Tongues is going to be releasing a shoe a day for the next 4 days, so that they all get there proper shine. First up was the NewBalance 1500 pictured above
So check back tomorrow for the latest info & pics.
These will be limited to 99 pairs and sold exclusively on crookedtongues.com in early december
Sony and Nike have partnered up once again for another shoe. This time sony chose to do a shoe in the likeness of their new already hyped up system PS3, on the the am 90 hybrid platform.
Just like the Playstation Forces these too are limited, only these are limited to only 24 pairs, and were not released for sale to the public. So unless you know somebody, you can look but not touch.

The pack which consisted of the Dunk low, Air Force One, and Dunk High.

Bought to you by the good people at just blaze tv[via Youtube] we have a pt 1 and a pt 2 of just blaze making and producing one of the more soulful tracks on "The Game's" newest album The Doctors Advocate.
Fresh off his Jim Jones diss, Jim was quick to respond to Allhiphop.com about his sentiments on the whole HOV situation and the diss. I don't care what Jim says Jay got him. In the interview Jim Jones did have one good point Jay is too big of a rapper...excuse me to big of a Business man...excuse me to big of a CEO to be acknowledging one of dames little henchman or is he one of Cam's henchman, whatever. Nonetheless jay isn't gonna profit any for going at jim over wax.
Entertaining nonetheless "let the games begin"
Quotable: "Ball game nigga it's over for you lames gimme back the chain its over for you dames"
A couple of samples am's for the up and coming "Skulls" pack slated to drop soon. As i've seen several different am 90's using the 360 platform it looks as if nike will take the success of the hype created by the "one time only" pack and run with it.
The am 1's and the 90's are mde out of mesh, sude and premium leather, whas not to love? Not usually the hugest fan of earth tones but for some reason they always look hot on a am 90, and the colors chosen are intresting but not going overboard with every neon color in nikes catalog
The second installment to the Crooked Tounges X Puma clyde callabo. They come at us with two pairs of complementing clyde's, dubbed the "Bonnie & Clyde". Along with the other "CT" x Puma's these are set to drop at at HUF (SF), ALIFE (NYC), GOODS (Seattle), and Fred Segal this saturday[Nov 18].

Nike Air Max 90 "Homegrown" are set to be released at Patta next month. They were made to accompany the debut of the online music magazine called Homegrown/state mag, which basically highlights up and coming Hip-Hop artist who's culture loves the am 90.
Like the am 1 amsterdam's these limited am 90's are holland exclusives. Featuring leaf patterns and a gum sole bottom, when full size pics are available i'm sure they won't disappoint.
Here we have pictured above is the new Mike Cement print New Era hats in three different colors. The Black/Grey , Grey/Black , and the Black/Gold. Cement print is everywhere guess the next step was a New Era so you can be head to toe in it.
Another pic of the "CG III's" that are set to drop in the first quarter of 07. Some of the accent colors in my opinion were wrong choices, such as the yellow shoe lace holes but nonetheless still a solid cg colorway to carry on its hot predecessors.
Finally, no blends, no remixes on random mixtapes with old verses, just history in the making. This is Nas featuring Hov on "Black Republican", a new track from Nas' upcoming album "Hip Hop Is Dead: The N"
Beyonce Knowles and Eva Longoria will play lovers in the Victorian drama "Tipping The Velvet".
Sofia Coppola is hoping to bring Sarah Water's novel about sexual repression to the big screen and wants Beyonce and Eva to take the roles of 1890s music hall star, Kitty Butler, and her lover Nan Astley. According to the New York Daily News the film is "graphically saucy." The BBC television adaptation caused outrage years ago with its graphic sex scenes, which included cross-dressing and the use of sex toys.
Beyonce and Eva are said to be incredibly excited about the steamy love scenes and can't wait for filming on the project to start. "We've had Brokeback Mountain so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment," said Beyonce. -images: crunk + disorderly
The other color set to drop on black friday[nov 24th] is the orange Victory Pump's. Just as the other two these are made out of an orange upper tennis ball like material, with a white midsole. Both the white & orange "Ball-Out" are releasing at Alife.
Yes for the Peggy Bundy in all of you nike has created a cheeta print court force low possibly to release with the animal pack. These samples include the cheetah print and suede accents. Strangely enough they don't look half bad.
