In other news, KRS-One's son was found dead in his Atlanta apartment:
"Randy Hubbard-Parker, son of rap pioneer KRS-One, was found dead (July 1) after committing suicide.
The 23-year-old was found in his Atlanta apartment over the weekend with a gunshot wound to the head. According to his mother Simone G. Parker, he had been battling "severe depression."
A private memorial will be held for Parker on July 18, on what would have been his 24th birthday. A New York memorial service is soon to follow.
